NuCalm helps you stay calm and comfortable throughout your dental appointment without medication or side effects. Applied in just minutes, NuCalm allows you to fully relax while remaining awake and aware, making dental care feel faster, easier, and stress-free.

  • Natural Adrenaline Blocker: A chewable tablet or calming cream gently blocks your body’s “fight-or-flight” response, reducing anxiety while allowing normal function.
  • CES Patches: Small patches behind the ears deliver light electrical stimulation, guiding your brain into a deeply relaxed state similar to pre-sleep.
  • Noise-Canceling Headphones: Specially programmed music keeps brainwaves in a calm beta state while blocking external noise.

Oral Conscious Sedation

For patients who need additional relaxation, we offer oral conscious sedation to make treatment more comfortable. Sedation appointments are scheduled for a dedicated two-hour block to allow plenty of time for care.

  • Two prescriptions are provided: one to take the night before, and one to bring on the day of your appointment.
  • About 30 minutes before treatment, we administer the medication, along with NuCalm and nitrous oxide.
  • The medication helps reduce anxiety, lowers inhibitions & may make you feel drowsy but not fully asleep.
  • Many patients experience mild amnesia effects, remembering little of the procedure afterward.
